About

About Red Dot Investor

An investing education library written plainly — built from one simple bet: markets reward discipline, not prediction.

What this site is

Red Dot Investor publishes plain-language reports on long-term investing, with a Singapore outlook. We cover the frameworks, rules, and habits that actually move the needle — asset allocation, diversification, dollar-cost averaging, rebalancing, keeping costs and fees low, and staying the course when the headlines get loud.

We don’t predict markets, chase themes, or sell excitement. The writing is meant to be read once, understood, and acted on with boring consistency.

What we believe

Why the red dot

Singapore is the little red dot. Red●Dot Investor carries that dot in the middle of the name — a reminder that we write for this market: CPF, SRS, the SGX scene, and the everyday realities of building wealth in Singapore.

Not financial advice

Everything published here is education, not advice. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, product, or strategy. Markets go down as well as up, and you can lose money. Do your own research and consider your own circumstances — or speak to a licensed adviser.

Editorial policy

No sponsored placements, no paid-for coverage, and no affiliate revenue on this site today. If the site ever earns from advertising, links, or referrals, we will disclose it clearly and in full. Our only product is the writing.
